Sporting role models
Matthias Glarner won the title of wrestling king in front of 50,000 spectators at the Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival in Estavayer-le-Lac in August 2016 and has been an Opel brand ambassador since 2017. He has already won over 100 wreaths in the course of his career, including four federal wreaths. The collaboration with Kilian Wenger, wrestling king of the 2010 Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival in Frauenfeld, began in 2010. Kilian Wenger has won 67 wreaths to date, three of which were federal. He began his great passion for wrestling at the age of 9.

Sonia Kälin won the coveted title of wrestling queen for the third time in 2016 after 2015 and 2012. In 2015, she was named Schwyz Sportswoman of the Year. Over the course of her career, Sonia Kälin has already won 35 crowns.
