The new special models Giulia 6C Villa d'Este and Stelvio 6C Villa d'Este are a tribute to the heritage and elegance of the brand. Both vehicles are characterized by special equipment.
These include the three-coat paint finish in Rosso Etna. The colors and design features of the limited-edition special models were inspired by the elegance of the classic 6C 2500 Super Sport coupé, which the Italians produced in the 1940s.
At the 1949 Concorso d'Eleganza in Villa d'Este on Lake Como, a 6C 2500 Super Sport won the coveted audience award.
Driving pleasure and comfort for the occupants
The Giulia 6C Villa d'Este and the Stelvio 6C Villa d'Este are, to a certain extent, living rooms on wheels. They offer driving pleasure and comfort for driver and passengers. The engine range for both models includes a 2.2-liter turbodiesel and a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine in the power range from 190 to 280 hp.
The engines are always combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and, in the Stelvio, also with Q4 all-wheel drive. Power is transmitted to the rear axle via a cardan shaft made of carbon fiber.
The exclusive body colors and the chrome-plated frames of the side windows as well as the alloy wheels in sizes 19 and 21 inches are also typical.
Traditional connection between the brands
The relationship between Alfa Romeo and Villa d'Este arose from the deep connection between Milan - the birthplace of Alfa Romeo - and the popular vacation hotel of the aristocracy in the foothills of the Alps.
The Concorso d'Eleganza at the Villa d'Este developed into a world-renowned showcase for the excellence of the Italian automotive industry. This connection has survived the decades and is still going strong today.
