The current model offers driver assistance systems such as Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Front Assist in conjunction with ACC, which now even recognizes pedestrians. It is also equipped with an electric parking brake and a keyless unlocking and starting system. The Media System Plus with its eight-inch display is the highlight of the infotainment system, which is complemented for the first time in a Leon Cupra by a connectivity box in the center console. With its 2.0 TSI engine, which offers an output of 300 PS, it is not only the top model in the product line, but also the most powerful vehicle ever produced in series by the brand. The engine is not only ten hp more powerful than before (from 290 hp to 300 hp) and the maximum torque has been increased from 350 Nm to no less than 380 Nm. Market launch in Switzerland is at the end of February 2017.
