With the GT 63 S e-performance model, AMG is transferring its brand-typical DNA into the electrified future.
The combination of 4-liter V8 biturbo engine and electric motor generates a system output of 620 kW (843 hp) and maximum torque of more than 1400 Nm in the GT 63 S. As in Formula 1, the battery is designed for fast power delivery.
The electric range of twelve kilometers provides a sufficient action radius for the agglomeration.
Sprint to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds
The driving performance is correspondingly impressive: Acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 2.9 seconds, and propulsion does not end until 316 km/h.
The spontaneous response of the electric drive to the rear axle, the rapid build-up of torque and the optimized weight distribution enable an extremely dynamic driving experience.
Drive and transmission response
The seven Dynamic Select driving programs Electric, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race, Smooth and Individual are precisely tailored to the new drive technology and thus offer a wide-ranging driving experience from emphatically efficient to extremely dynamic.
The driving programs adjust important parameters such as the response of the drivetrain and transmission, the steering characteristics, the chassis damping or the sound. They can be selected via the shift paddle in the center console or the steering wheel buttons.
Lacquers and equipment according to your wishes
The exterior design with its low-slung hood, squat greenhouse and elegant fastback highlights the sporty genes of the four-door coupe. The front apron, which is based on the two-door AMG GT, is striking.
As with the entire model series, numerous paint finishes and equipment options are also available for the hybrid version. Available are 20- and 21-inch alloy wheels in two color variants each.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE according to WLTP 8.6 l/100 km and 10.3 kWh/100 km.
Adaptive chassis and damping system
Also included in the hybrid GT 63 S are the Ride Control+ adaptive suspension with new damping system, the ceramic composite braking system and the MBUX multimedia system in the standard widescreen cockpit.
In the instrument cluster, the driver can read the electric range, power consumption, power and torque of the electric machine, and the temperatures of the battery and electric machine. Prices on request.
