As with the Giulia, the new model will initially be launched in the sportiest top version. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio's 2.9-liter V6 biturbo produces 510 hp and is based on Ferrari know-how. A 280 hp 2.0-liter petrol engine has already been announced. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio - the name refers to the Stelvio Pass in the Alps - is 4.68 meters long and 1.65 meters high. Power is transmitted by an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF. The four drive programs "Dynamic", "Natural" and "Race" as well as "Advanced Efficiency" are available. The all-wheel drive is equipped with an electronically controlled rear axle differential. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio will be presented in Europe at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 (March 9 to 19 at Palexpo). The first vehicles in Switzerland will be equipped with a 2.0 turbo petrol engine with 280 hp. The Quadrifoglio version will be launched at the end of 2017. Prices have not yet been set.
