Following a new crowd-sourcing experiment in co-determined vehicle design, Ford has now unveiled the winning specification of the Puma ST Gold Edition model, which will be available to order in limited numbers from the end of the year. Ford fans cast nearly 275,000 votes in polls on the Twitter and Instagram channels within ten days.

Community determined the new name
The survey participants selected numerous design features, including, for example, the exterior paint finish and the color of components. Even the name of the new edition was determined by the community.

As a result of the voting, the following features have emerged: Exterior paint in black, brake calipers in red, seat belt stitching in gray. Further, the participants wanted special exterior decals, ST badges, Puma door sill trims, an ST nameplate and the name Puma ST Gold Edition.
