The GP Inspired versions are set apart from the JCW models by their borrowing of racing characteristics. Typical features include the numbered carbon fiber front fenders, the Thunder Gray metallic paint, the carbon fiber air intake from JCW Pro Design, the silver roof and the red mirror caps.
Everything is optimized by an Alcantara steering wheel and a JCW-style armrest with red stitching and embroidered GP Inspired logo.
Two-liter turbo with 335 hp and 510 Nm
The two-liter four-cylinder engine familiar from the BMW M135i with 306 hp and 450 Nm from the factory serves as the powerplant, but Christoph Dähler's team has given it a power boost to 335 hp and 510 Nm.
This performance upgrade is also accompanied by a removal of the standard limit on top speed, so that the Mini John Cooper Works Clubman All4 GP Inspired Dähler Competition Line now reaches around 265 km/h. The special twin-pipe stainless steel exhaust system with flap control underscores the distinctive sound.
Forged wheels and high performance tires
The special model is equipped with the particularly lightweight 8×20 CDC1 Forged wheels and 245/30 ZR 20 Michelin Pilot Sport high-performance tires.
This wheel/tire combination is legally approved. The same applies to the performance coilover suspension, the compression and rebound damping of which can be adjusted to suit the intended use and the preferences of the driver.
The complete price for the nippy station wagon is 69,800 francs.
