Many international drivers swear by the characteristics of the sports cars from the plant in Sant'Agata Bolognese.

CEO Stephan Winkelmann, Head of Engineering Maurizio Reggiani, Head of Production Ranieri Niccoli and Head of Motorsport Giorgio Sanna met with the production team at the plant during the production of the anniversary model.

Models set an example in the GT category

Stephan Winkelmann: "We are proud to celebrate this important milestone for Squadra Corse and the entire company. Squadra Corse has been able to assert itself in the most important international competitions in just a few years. The Huracán GT3 and Super Trofeo are undisputed role models in the GT category."

Long-lasting success in international races
The first Huracán Super Trofeo was presented in 2014 as a replacement for the Gallardo in the Lamborghini one-make championship. The Huracán GT3 followed a year later, marking Lamborghini's official entry into the GT3 championships. In six seasons, the Huracán GT3 and its successor, the GT3 Evo, won almost 100 races.

These included the legendary 24 Hours of Daytona and twice the 12 Hours of Sebring. The crowning glory was the Triple Crown in the GT World Challenge Europe 2019.

In 2020 alone, the Huracán GT3 covered a total distance of 20,000 kilometers in 15 national and international championships under the management of 24 teams and in the hands of 88 drivers.
