The Arteon flagship designed by Volkswagen R with the high-performance turbo engine delivers a torque of 420 Nm and a maximum output of 320 hp.
All four wheels are operated via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox - optimally distributed between the axles. Thanks to the electronically controlled chassis (DCC) and torque vectoring control as standard, driving dynamics are optimized.
The hybrid drives up to 140 km/h with zero local emissions
The second new Arteon model is the Shooting Brake eHybrid, which has an electric range of up to 57 kilometers and can therefore cover around 95 percent of the average distances driven by car in Switzerland.
With zero local emissions, the plug-in hybrid can reach speeds of up to 140 km/h, with the turbo petrol engine kicking in at higher speeds. The system output is 218 hp (160 kW) and the system torque is 400 Nm. A speed of 100 km/h is thus reached in 7.8 seconds.
The Arteon Shooting Brake Elegance eHybrid is available for 61,700 Swiss francs, while the R version costs 73,500 Swiss francs.
