The new Fabia continues a long success story. Since its market launch 22 years ago, the Czech automaker has produced more than 4.5 million units of the popular small car. Now the new model comes with a distinctive design, a spacious interior and improvements in comfort and safety with new assistance systems.
As before, the Fabia offers compact exterior dimensions, efficient drives and simply-clever equipment features. The car thus meets the demands of young families or young professionals and is perfect as a second car.
Compact dimensions on group platform
The influence of the MQB-A0 platform on the vehicle design is reflected in new dimensions and proportions. Despite the increased body size, the vehicle weight has been kept almost constant compared with the third generation.
With five gasoline engines ranging from 65 to 150 hp and agile handling, the Fabia is suitable for both short and long distances, and its compact dimensions make it perfect for use in the city.

With 50-liter tank 950 kilometer range
All five powertrains belong to the VW Group's new Evo engine generation. The friction-optimized 1.0 TSI three-cylinder engines deliver outputs of 65, 80, 95 and 110 hp and are coupled to 5- or 6-speed transmissions. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is optionally available for the 110 and 150 hp versions (in the 1.5 TSI).
In combination with the optional 50-liter tank instead of the standard 40-liter version, this results in ranges of up to over 950 kilometers.
Nine airbags protect driver and passengers
In the event of a collision, up to nine airbags protect the vehicle occupants. The Fabia also offers additional Isofix and top-tether attachments - for the first time also on the front passenger seat. For many years, Å koda has been making everyday life easier for its customers with a constant stream of new Simply-Clever features. The Fabia is now continuing this tradition and, in its fourth generation, offers no fewer than 13 new ideas, some of which found their way into the small car for the first time from other models.
