The launch of a GT3 version in the 911 family is always a highlight - both technically and emotionally. The double-wishbone front axle and the sophisticated aerodynamics with gooseneck rear wing and striking diffuser originate from the 911 RSR GT race car.

The four-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine with its 510 hp is based on the endurance-tested powertrain of the 911 GT3 R. The result is a brilliant driving machine, perfect for the circuit and trouble-free in everyday use.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h 3.4 seconds
The characteristic strength of the 911 GT3 lies in the sum of its properties. Top speed is 320 km/h, acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h 3.4 seconds. For a particularly purist driving experience, Porsche also offers the new model with an optional six-speed manual transmission.

The sophisticated aerodynamics of the 911 GT3 benefit from racing experience and generate more downforce.

Marked time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife
On the almost obligatory Nürburgring Nordschleife benchmark, the new GT3 set an impressive record: In the course of tuning work, it became the first production model with a naturally aspirated engine to break the seven-minute mark.

Development driver Lars Kern needed just 6:59.927 minutes for one lap. The 911 GT3 completed the slightly shorter 20.6-kilometer variant, which has served as a benchmark to date, in 6:55.2 minutes.

With 1418 kilograms weight only 2.8 kilograms per hp
Despite wider bodywork and larger wheels, the car with manual transmission weighs just 1418 kilograms. The carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic front hood, lightweight glass panels, optimized brake discs, forged alloy wheels and lightweight sports exhaust system helped keep the weight down.

A new feature in the interior is the track screen: At the push of a button, it reduces the digital displays to the left and right of the tachometer to tire pressure display, oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel tank level and water temperature.

The Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur program is also available for the new 911 GT3, supplemented by GT3-specific options such as a lightweight roof made of visible carbon.
