Kia is preparing its top model Stinger for the future. In model year 2021, the sports sedan will be presented with new assistance systems and large-format map navigation.
Small modifications have been made to the exterior, and the interior has been further upgraded with new details and materials.
Blinker lights now consist of ten LED spots
Externally, the revised Kia Stinger differs from the previous model above all in the rear view. The rear lights, which extend across the entire width of the vehicle, are striking. The indicators consist of ten LED spotlights.
Revised LED headlights have been installed at the front, and the 19-inch alloy wheels have also been redesigned.
The 4.83 meter long sports saloon is still only available in the GT version with a 3.3 liter V6 turbo petrol engine, 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The car produces 366 hp and mobilizes a maximum torque of 510 Nm. It sprints to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.
Control through numerous new assistance systems
The new assistants include the active blind spot assistant, which displays images from the cameras integrated in the exterior mirrors on the 7-inch color display between the analog round instruments in the cockpit.
Another new feature is the intelligent speed assistant. It recognizes speed limits and automatically adjusts the speed. The Stinger also features Traffic Jam Assist, Highway Assist and Exit Warning. And the new occupant alert recognizes when something is moving in the locked vehicle and alerts the driver if children or animals in the back seat are in danger.
Finally, the adaptive cruise control system can now also incorporate navigation information and thus adjust the speed in good time before bends or coasting sections.
Black suede with red stitching as an option
The Stinger GT comes with black nappa leather upholstery as standard. The seat covers and door panels are also available in dark red as an option.
Another new option has been added: black suede with red stitching, which also adorns the door panels and dashboard - combined with red seat belts.
