Volkswagen: T6.1 with certified safety

The experts from Euro NCAP therefore wanted to know how safe the vehicles in categories B and C/D with a permissible gross weight of 3.5 tons are. The tests focused on the availability and function of the active safety systems.
Benchmark for other light commercial vehicles
The consortium concluded that the T6.1 van from VW Commercial Vehicles is the best equipped. It offers customers the opportunity to buy a wide range of powerful safety features and, according to the tests, gets the gold medal for this.
The assessment stated, among other things, that "the Transporter sets the bar for the others in light commercial vehicles in 2021."
