Since its market launch in 2018, the handsome electric car has sold very well. Around 120,000 units have been put on the road worldwide so far, 60,000 of them in Europe alone.

Kona Electric
With its redesigned front end featuring a closed radiator grille, the Kona's electric drive technology is immediately apparent.

Range record of more than 1000 kilometers
The Kona Electric has also become known for its range record of 1026 kilometers, which Hyundai achieved at the Lausitzring in August 2020.

With the revised model, the Koreans are now introducing striking innovations in the design that give the vehicle a purist look.

With its newly designed front with closed radiator grille, the electric drive technology is immediately apparent. Numerous safety elements and an advanced technology package round off the further developments.

For the first time with a digital instrument display
The new Kona Electric is 25 millimeters longer than the previous version, which further enhances its visual presence. Additional body colors and the option of a different roof color allow for interesting new personalizations.

A digital instrument display is used for the first time. The touchscreen serves as the interface for the multimedia and convenience applications including Bluelink, Hyundai Live Services, Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Battery charging can be controlled via smartphone - even remotely. The Kona's battery can be charged from ten to 80 percent in 47 minutes at the 75-kW fast-charging station. In the colder months of the year, the vehicle can also be preheated via the external power connection.

Permanent magnet synchronous motor with 204 hp output
The 4.20-meter-long newcomer is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum output of 150 kW (204 hp). This is enough for excellent driving performance and, thanks to the 64 kWh battery, a range of 484 kilometers according to WLTP. Of course, many safety and driving assistance systems are also on board.
