The Garagistenverband had planned various scenarios early on: One of these scenarios was also a virtual meeting that could have been made available to participants via live stream.
Dialogue with partners is important
AGVS Central President Urs Wernli: "But that would have robbed the conference of one of its most important qualities. The dialog between representatives of the automotive industry, politics, business and science, the personal exchange and the cultivation of the network are integral parts of the conference. That's why we rejected the live stream option."
Previous registrations remain valid
Due to regulatory requirements, the number of seats in the Kursaal Bern had been limited to 550 in September, and the event was already fully booked by mid-October due to this limitation.
As of today, the AGVS assumes this limit at least until further notice. This means: The previous registrations remain valid and additional registrations will be put on a waiting list. In this case please mail.
Entrepreneur, service provider, individualist
The postponement does not change the content of the symposium. Under the motto "The garage owner: Entrepreneur. Service Provider. Individualist.", the next Swiss Garageists' Day will highlight the areas of tension in which the automotive industry finds itself today.
In the population, the automobile enjoys significantly increased popularity, especially in times of Corona - at the same time, the CO2 debate is being waged against the automobile industry and motorists. Once again, the AGVS has succeeded in attracting proven speakers and panelists.
