For the first time, Lego Technic is offering a model from Jeep. To mark the 80th anniversary of the off-roader brand, the new Wrangler Rubicon will be launched on January 1, 2021.
Featuring a powerful 4×4 system, rugged tires, fold-down rear seats and a classic seven-slot grille, the model is designed to provide an exciting building experience for Lego fans of all ages.
Perfect for off-road trips in the sandbox
The kit contains 665 parts and is ready for real off-road adventures when assembled. Thanks to operable steering, an axle design with extreme interlocking and a winch, the Lego Jeep masters almost any obstacle - even in the sandbox.
The model is intended for fans aged nine and older. The car will be available from January 1, 2021 at a price of about 50 francs.
Authentic features from the Wrangler
Lars Thygesen, Lego Technic designer: "The Wrangler Rubicon has many of the iconic details loved by 4×4 fans around the world. That's why it was important to me to pack as many of the authentic features of the real vehicle into the replica."
Model is to arouse enthusiasm for Jeep
Lego's Jeep Wrangler allows you to take it apart just like the original: take off the top, remove the doors, reconfigure it. It should also help to inspire future car builders and designers for the Jeep brand.
