Exterior features of the new Dacia Sandero and the Crossover Stepway is the brand's signature lighting.
The completely redesigned Sandero and Stepway have gained a good three centimeters in length, but almost twelve centimeters in width. The rear footwell has grown by 42 millimeters.
Dacia emphasizes the wider track together with flush-fitting wheels. The dimensions 15 and 16 inches are on offer.

Good workmanship and pleasant space
And this extra millimeter is pleasantly noticeable even in the first few minutes of getting to know the car. Everything is in view, the seats offer good support, and the workmanship passes a shake test with a score of 6. You feel comfortable and in good hands right away.
The Romanians continue to score points when on the move. There is hardly any wind noise, the engines run cleanly, and the automatic and gear shift do a good job. What more could you want?
Clearly more comfort than the predecessor
The third model generation of the Dacia Sandero offers extensive comfort and safety details even from the entry-level Access SCe 65 version. Exterior features include the brand's typical light signature with low beam and daytime running lights in LED design.
Significantly more comfort is provided by the electric power steering, the electrically operated window regulators for the driver and front passenger, and the height-adjustable steering wheel.
Proven manual transmission with five gears
In addition, the entry-level model has the radio upgrade with integrated smartphone holder. The safety level has also been significantly enhanced and, starting with the basic version, includes Active Emergency Brake Assist, windowbags, emergency call function and LED low beam.
The SCe 65 is powered by the 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine with 67 hp. It is homologated in accordance with the Euro 6d-Full emissions standard and is combined in the Sandero with the tried-and-tested 5-speed manual transmission.
Strong appearance and increased ground clearance
Compared with the Sandero, the new Sandero Stepway (from 12,890 Swiss francs) offers an even more striking look with wheel arch extensions, increased ground clearance and independent design of the hood and front and rear aprons.
It is available from the Essential equipment level, which includes roof rails and 16-inch design wheels as standard equipment
Integrated holder for smartphone
As in the equipment package of the sister model, the crossover offers the Media Control multimedia system. The infotainment system features an info display in the control instrument, the integrated smartphone holder, DAB+ radio, two front speakers, and Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Added to this is the Dacia Media Control app, which connects the phone with the multimedia system.
For added convenience, the Sandero Stepway Essential also features the steering wheel-mounted control satellite.
Important: Starting with the entry-level version, the Sandero Stepway features the more powerful TCe 90 turbo gasoline engine with 91 hp coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Sliding roof and practical roof rails
A first for Dacia: A sunroof will be available for the first time in the course of 2021. The roof rails on the Sandero and Stepway are adjustable for a maximum roof load of 80 kilograms.
Extras include heated front seats keyless entry and also an electric parking brake.
Switzerland should certainly have been waiting for this car.
