Vintage cars: the scene meets at Altenrhein

The time will soon come: On Sunday, September 18, 2016, the 16th Historic Traffic Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Altenrhein airfield on Lake Constance. Long fins: No event for fans of older vehicles should be without the at least five-meter mixed sleds. This will also be the case at Altenrhein. Models from well-known manufacturers are expected.

Initiator and organizer Fredy Pillinger: "Anyone who appreciates historic and classic automobiles, tractors, motorcycles and other means of transport should not miss our event. Today we live in a time where values are changing faster and faster or are adapted to new needs. The Altenrhein Historical Traffic Show offers all visitors, of course families are also welcome, a short contemplative time to revive old memories and experiences."

In good weather Junkers JU-52 flies over terrain
You will then have plenty of opportunity to do so for many hours in hopefully good weather. At the flea and parts market, almost everyone will find an object they have always been looking for. Weather permitting, the Junkers JU-52 will make its circles around the grounds. Fredy Pillinger recalls last year's meeting with enthusiasm: "The rolling museum attracted a good three thousand fans and spectators from the entire Lake Constance region and nearby countries. At 9 o'clock sharp, a column of pre- and post-war veterans was already standing at the entrance, despite heavy rain. We could not believe our eyes that so many had answered our call to come to Altenrhein." So reasons enough to experience the traffic show live. More updated information is available on the Internet.
