The Edge is the new flagship of Ford's SUV model range. It is positioned above the EcoSport and the Kuga. It is available in four equipment versions: "Trend," "Titanium," "Sport" and "Vignale." The equipment includes Active Noise Cancellation, Collision Assist with pedestrian detection and Adaptive Control.
A lot of automotive luxury at acceptable prices
The price starts at 47,800 Swiss francs. Even the entry-level model is comprehensively equipped, for example with the SYNC connectivity system, automatic climate control, rearview camera and cruise control.
The new Ford Edge is powered by a 2.0 liter turbo diesel with 180 hp and manual transmission or a 2.0 liter bi-turbo diesel with 210 hp and Ford PowerShift dual-clutch transmission. Ford's intelligent all-wheel drive ensures perfect traction on any surface. The luxury-equipped Edge Vignale is available from 56,500 Swiss francs.
