After the cancellation of the Zurich Game Show and the Fantasy Basel, the organizers of the Swiss Simracing Series were forced to organize two more online events. Thus, the Red Bull Ring as well as the track in Mugello were newly added to the schedule as online qualifying races.
Winner in captivating form
Already in qualifying and then in the 20-minute race, Enrico di Loreto from Team Rennsportonline.de showed his 21 competitors the champion. From the start he steadily pulled away, turned the fastest lap with 1:31.644 and in the end took an unchallenged start/finish victory with a lead of over 12 seconds.
With his dominance, he can be counted among the closest favorites in the fight for the 2020 SM title.

Chaser cleared
Initially Dario Benz and Francesco Santaguida were able to follow him, but in the end they could not keep up with his pace. When Santaguida was rudely pushed off by Ilaria Ogis while lapping, this cost him a place in the final. The "culprit" received a 10-second time penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct from the race organizers after analyzing the accident.
Entry into the final at the second attempt
So Kevin Ott was on hand to take third place. This makes Di Loreto, Benz and Ott the next three finalists in the Standard category.
In 9th, 10th and 12th place, Giampiero Bellisario, Christian Mettler and Armin Halter crossed the digital finish line to secure final places in the Ü40 classification. Like Ott, Mettler was one of the six riders who tried their luck a second time and thus managed the hoped-for entry into the final. In addition, both are also experienced real-life touring car drivers.

Last finalists wanted
The winner of the ladies' classification was Danica Brönnimann. This means that 35 drivers have already been selected for the final on December 6 at the Porsche Center in Schlieren. Nine more sim racers are still being sought.
The last chance to secure one of the coveted final starting places will be at the sixth and final online event from November 3 to 5 at the virtual circuit of Mugello.
