The heart of the new G 310 GS is still the proven 313 cubic centimeter, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with four valves, two overhead camshafts and electronic fuel injection.
With full LED headlights as standard
With the introduction of the Euro 5 emissions standard, the R 310 GS now comes with a full LED headlight including daytime running lights and LED indicators as standard. Other new features include E-Throttle for smoother throttle response, four-stage adjustable hand levers and an anti-hopping clutch. In addition, the idling speed is automatically increased when starting off to prevent the engine from stalling.
GS edition as a tribute to the R 100 GS
The engine housing covers are now painted in titanium gray. The Rallye styling variant with a red-painted frame and blue tank is new.
As the "40 Years GS" edition, the BMW G 310 GS borrows from a famous role model from BMW GS history - the R 100 GS. Accordingly, it appears in black and yellow - with the basic color Cosmicblack uni and yellow graphics on the tank side panels. You can see more details in the gallery.
