The link between road sports car and race car is also evident at this year's 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. The number 1 GT3 sports car from Audi Sport Team Phoenix is visually adapted to the R8 green hell with its dark green livery.

Nico Müller, current leader in the DTM, shares the cockpit with Frank Stippler, Dries Vanthoor and Frédéric Vervisch. These Audi drivers have won the race at least once.

Tiomangreen and matte black foiling
The Audi R8 green hell edition model is limited to 50 units and numbered consecutively. In Switzerland, the Audi R8 green hell is available from 259,980 Swiss francs - but only two vehicles.

In keeping with the "Green Hell" motto, the outer skin is painted in dark Tiomangreen. However, customers can also choose Ibis white, Daytona gray or Mythos black on request.

The hood, A-pillars, roof and rear end are partially covered in matte black racing livery.

The matt black optics package adds striking accents to the front, sills and diffuser, complemented by sideblades, mirror housings and rear wing in the same tone.

The Audi R8 green light is produced at the Böllinger Höfe manufactory in Neckarsulm.

Lightweight bucket seats for the pilot
Inside, the driver sits on lightweight bucket seats with Alcantara center panels. The same material is also used on the steering wheel rim, the hood above the digital instrument display, the armrests in the doors, the knee pads and the center armrest.

The basis is the naturally aspirated V10 engine with 620 hp
The basis of the R8 green hell edition model is the Audi R8 V10 performance quattro in its coupe form. Its sonorous naturally aspirated V10 engine sends 620 hp to the four wheels via the seven-speed S tronic transmission. It catapults the high-performance sports car from zero to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and on to 331 km/h top speed.

The quattro drive, which distributes the forces freely variably between the axles as required, is specially tailored to the mid-engine layout. A mechanical limited-slip differential on the rear axle further enhances driving dynamics and traction.
