Thus, the SUV has 33 liters more cargo volume than the passenger car variant with folded rear seats. The Transporter differs from the familiar model in that it has a partition grid, flat load floor and a trunk that has been enlarged to 863 liters.
Safety like in a passenger car
The Jimny as a van is equipped with the same safety features as the passenger car model.
Among other things, the emergency braking system with collision warning, which triggers an automatic braking process to avoid collisions, and a driving aid on hills, which enables problem-free starting on uphill and downhill gradients, have been installed.
If the vehicle is involved in a traffic accident, the eCall system will make an emergency call. The prices have not yet been determined.
