This action is one of many around the celebration of the 210th anniversary of the lion brand. On September 26, 1810, the company Peugeot Frères Aînés was officially founded.
Alternative vehicles of the lion brand
In keeping with the electrification of the brand's model range, the Musée de l'Aventure Peugeot is currently showing the "Electriques" exhibition. On display are the lion brand's electric vehicles from 1941 to 2010, including iconic models such as the VLV from 1941, the 106 ELECTRIC from 1993 and the EX1 concept car unveiled in 2010.
Models with purely electric drive
The fact that Peugeot worked on the idea of an electric drive early on is demonstrated by a hybrid that the manufacturer developed as early as 1917.
This was followed in 1926 by, among others, an electric van with the body of the former French carmaker Janoir, and in 1940 Peugeot presented a prototype of the 202 with electric drive.
Digital movie event in social network
For 210 years, Peugeot has stood for passion and innovation in mobility solutions.
On September 26, a film about the history of Peugeot will premiere on social networks. On the same day, Peugeot invites all interested parties to a digital event on the Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin platforms.
History of the three brands of PSA
The show "L'Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS" shows the heritage of the three French PSA brands Peugeot, Citroën and DS dedicated. Among other things, the organization runs a museum about the history in Sochaux.
Here 210 years of industrial history are traced. From saw blades, springs, fashion and household art to the history of the automobile, the motorcycle and the Peugeot bicycle.
