Externally, all Cupra models can be recognized at first glance by their LED lighting.
The high-performance Ateca SUV, the Leon available as a five-door and sports tourer, and the Formentor, the brand's first in-house development, all contributed to the encouraging performance.
The new CUV (meaning Caravaning Utility Vehicle) is designed to combine the advantages of an SUV with those of a high-performance vehicle.
Performance aspiration and electrification
Cupra CEO Wayne Griffiths: "Since the brand was launched two years ago, the product range has already grown strongly. The Ateca once marked the entry into a new segment. With more than 15,000 vehicles sold since its launch at the end of 2018, we can already look back on a success story. And we are continuing to expand our range with the new Leon and the Formentor.
Both models will show that performance and electrification go together perfectly. With then four models, the brand has a basis for further growth."
So the Spaniards are well prepared for the new model year.
Combination of dynamics and driving pleasure
Thanks to advanced chassis and steering technologies, the model range offers a successful combination of dynamics and driving pleasure.
The foundation is formed by tried-and-tested technologies, DSG direct-shift gearboxes (with shift-by-wire technology in the Formentor, Leon and Leon Sportstourer) and progressive steering that gives the driver better control.
Additions include DCC adaptive chassis control, which provides several freely selectable driving profiles for an optimal driving experience in every situation, as well as a differential lock and 18-inch Brambo brakes.
Taillights with striking graphics
The model range stands out from the crowd not only aesthetically but also in terms of driving performance. Each vehicle has a special appearance, but is recognizable as a family model by certain design elements.
Externally, the LED lighting has a defining effect, underlining the lively, powerful and determined impression of all models. The taillight graphics further emphasize these characteristics.
Colors and materials as you wish
In the interior, the bucket seats of the standard equipment convey a feeling of comfort and at the same time emphasize the sporty character of the vehicles. Thanks to various colors and materials, including leather, every customer can design the interior according to their personal preferences.
Gear change with large shift paddles
As soon as the driver takes his seat, his gaze falls on the new steering wheel. The large gearshift paddles enable emphatically sporty gear changes. Directly in front of the driver is the Digital Cockpit, which focuses on speed and revs. In view of the digitalization of everyday life, infotainment and connectivity solutions are obligatory.
Efficient interaction without distraction
The models in the Cupra family are equipped with various systems so that customers can always be online even in the car. Full Link technology integrates the smartphone into the vehicle via both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while voice and gesture control enable simple and efficient interaction without distracting the driver.
State-of-the-art driver assistance systems
Safety is a sine qua non, which is why the Cupra range is equipped with some of the most advanced driver assistance systems, enabling it to offer some of the safest vehicles in the segment. Highlights include predictive cruise control, Emergency Assist, Travel Assist, and Side and Exit Assist.
