An attempt is now to be made with BR Engineering and the SMP racing team to produce the C8 Preliator, the D8 Peking-to-Paris SUV and the B6 Venator as an entry-level model.
Last appearance at the Geneva Motor Show
Spyker took over Saab at the beginning of the last decade and was in financial distress in 2014. After that, there were repeated declarations that the company would continue.
Vehicles were also subsequently shown. However, nothing more had been heard officially from the sports car manufacturer for a good four years. Spyker was last seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017.
The brand started as a carriage maker
In total, the brand is said to have built 265 road vehicles over the past 15 years.
Spyker was originally a carriage builder in the Netherlands that also built cars in the early days of the automobile. The company closed its doors in 1926. In 1999, multimillionaire Victor Muller secured the rights to the name.
