From September 18 to 20, 2020, the Int. Eichenberg Klein Slalom could have celebrated its tenth anniversary. This must now be postponed to 2021.

The race near the Swiss border above Lake Constance has always been held over the years with the involvement of the population and in the presence of many spectators in a very confined space.
In addition, as for all RRCV races in this exceptional year, many participants with accompanying persons from five nations would have traveled to the border triangle. Also quite a few drivers and spectators from Switzerland would have been expected.
The aggravated Covid 19 situation and the legal framework have prompted the Municipal Council to cancel this 2020 event for safety reasons. In the attachment, the reasoning can be read in the letter of the municipality.
Respect decision
Organization manager Pepe Hammerer can understand this decision, even if his heart bleeds.
Pepe Hammerer: "We have approval from the district authorities, but ultimately the municipality decides. Eichenberg has not had a Covid 19 event so far and wants it to stay that way. Therefore, we respect this decision, especially since the municipality and the population are otherwise always fully behind this event and participate. We want it to stay that way in the future."
