Particularly striking in the Lucid Air is the generous screen and speaker system.
In developing the battery pack for the sedan, manufacturer Lucid Motors was able to draw on ten years of experience and real-world testing with over 20 million miles traveled.
In addition, the know-how of the technology department played a major role. It has been supplying battery packs for Formula E since 2018 and will continue to do so until 2022.
The result is a battery system for the Lucid Air that offers optimal safety, performance and energy density in a form built around the occupant cabin.
Overall efficiency with new standard
Peter Rawlinson, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technical Officer at Lucid Motors, said, "I am delighted that the Research Society for Energy Technology and Internal Combustion Engines has certified the Lucid Air as having an estimated range of 832 kilometers. I believe the overall efficiency of the system has now reached a stage where we are defining a new standard and in addition it includes a number of world firsts."

Presentation of the current Lucid Air
The new production version of the Lucid Air will be unveiled in an online presentation on September 9, 2020. In addition to the final interior and exterior design of the vehicle, new details on production specifications and available configurations as well as pricing information will also be announced.
