Volkswagen e-up!: From the bumper to the rear diffuser, the exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal lamps and redesigned taillights, the model presents itself completely revised.

The city car is powered by an electric motor with 82 hp and 210 Nm of torque. As a result, the e-up! accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.9 seconds and achieves a top speed of 130 km/h. Its lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 18.7 kWh. The average range is thus said to be up to 160 kilometers, depending on the route profile, driving style and payload. Its consumption of 11.7 kWh/100 per 100 kilometers corresponds to an average driving cost of around 2.40 francs per 100 kilometers.

Options such as a rearview camera, a panoramic sunroof and new exterior colors also leave plenty of room for individual wishes. Despite this, the new e-up! has not become more expensive. The new e-up! will be on Swiss roads from the end of 2016. The natural gas-powered version will remain on offer. The eco-up! with its 1.0-liter CNG engine produces 68 hp. The natural gas runabout from Volkswagen can also be ordered now and is available with a manual five-speed transmission from 17,300 Swiss francs.
