As part of the new GR Heritage Parts Project, out-of-print parts for three legendary icons of Japanese sports car construction are being reproduced.
New parts for the world record holder
It starts with the Toyota Supra A70 (1986 to 1993) and Supra A80 (1993 to 2002) pulse accelerators. The next step is the Toyota 2000GT, the technology leader and world record holder built from 1967 to 1970.
The new production of parts for the Toyota Supra A70 and A80 series was first announced in May 2019 on the occasion of the presentation of the current Toyota GR Supra.
Labeling makes the difference
In January 2020, GR Heritage Parts Project presented specific details of the parts remanufacturing program for the two Supra model series at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
The only difference between the reproduced parts and the original Toyota parts is that they are labeled GR Heritage Parts.
