Volkswagen: "Cool Summer Island" in the Autostadt
The Autostadt in Wolfsburg is extending some of its popular summer offers until August 21, 2016 and will be providing live music on "Cool Summer Island" at the weekends to keep everyone in a good mood. The main attraction for the whole family in August is the floating island "Cool Summer Island", where guests can enjoy cool, relaxed live music in the evening on three weekends. From August 5 to 7, "Mrs. Ella & Louis", a guitar and vocal duo from Lower Saxony, will be performing. From August 12 to 14, the "Elbklang Duo" from Hamburg will be playing saxophone and guitar. Supported by a female singer, the musicians will then perform again from August 19 to 21 as the "Elbklang Trio". More than a dozen beer specialties will be offered daily from 12 noon until 31 August in the Autostadt Restaurant Lagune. On August 27 and 28, it will be "Are you ready - Attention - Go" for the 16th time at the dragon boat race for The Ritz-Carlton Cup in the Autostadt harbor basin.
