The Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is based on the 911 Targa 4S with 450 hp.
The model designation reveals what this car is all about: it is a derivative of the new 911 Targa 4S, and one with classic decor. In this case, in the style of the 1950s and early 1960s.
Market launch in fall
The noble piece can be ordered now and will arrive at dealerships in fall 2020. In parallel with the launch of the model, selected interior elements are available for all current 911s as part of a Heritage Design Package.
Exclusively for buyers of the collector's item, Porsche Design has designed a high-quality chronograph that is also limited edition
Personal race number
The model's signature color is a cherry red metallic hue, but there are also four other colors. White trim elements extend from the headlights to the A-pillars, there are stripes on the doors and the owner gets to choose a very personal starting number from 1 to 99.
The suggested Targa bar also looks classic, although it is not only used on this model.
Targa bar and rear in gold
Anyone who inspects this 911 more closely will discover numerous other details. For example, a historic Porsche Crest from 1963 affixed to the front trunk lid and the wheel hub covers.
The 21-inch wheels of the Exclusive line are based on the classic Fuchs wheel, and the lettering on the Targa bar and on the rear is in gold.
Instruments in phosphor green
In the interior, however, the 1963 crest appears again on the headrests, the airbag steering wheel, the key case and the key itself. The interior is lined in bicolor leather, with beige combined with either red or black.
Corduroy is used on the seats and door trim, and the instruments glow phosphor green at night.
Manual or automatic transmission
There will be 992 units of this special series. The basis is always the Targa 4S, optionally with a seven-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic with dual clutch.
All this is then available from 226,600 francs. But for that, the customer not only gets a lovingly crafted, luxurious interior, but also the certainty of having a rare car with a presumably pre-programmed increase in value in the garage,
