Unlawful attempt
The European Union Intellectual Property Office ruled in Piaggio's favor and declared the design registered by the Chinese company invalid. The vehicle constituted an unlawful attempt to copy the typical stylistic elements of the Vespa Primavera, according to the reasoning.
