Externally, the new 911 Targa is characterized by design elements from the 992 model generation.
The 911 Targa closes the gap between the Carrera Coupé and the Cabrio. As in the original Targa from 1965, the fully automatic roof system consists of a wide bar, a movable roof section above the front seats and the wraparound rear window.
From 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds
The six-cylinder boxer engine with three liters of displacement and biturbo charging ensures a powerful appearance. The 911 Targa 4 now produces 385 hp and, with the optional Sport Chrono Package, sprints from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds - a tenth faster than before.
Four tenths faster than the predecessor
The engine in the 911 Targa 4S has a rated output of 450 hp and reaches the 100 km/h mark in 3.6 seconds under the same conditions - four tenths faster than its predecessor.
The top speed of the 911 Targa 4 is 289 km/h (plus two km/h), that of the 4S 304 km/h (plus three km/h).

Dual clutch and all wheel drive
Both sports cars feature an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive as standard. Alternatively, the 911 Targa 4S can also be ordered with the new seven-speed manual transmission including the Sport Chrono Package.
Distance cruise control as an option
Porsche InnoDrive including proximity control is available for the first time. The enhanced Smartlift function allows the body to be raised automatically above frequently traveled thresholds.
The options are supplemented by equipment from Porsche Tequipment and customization options from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Porsche has already announced a special model of the 911 Targa for early June.
