The Federal Council has given the green light for the opening of stores. From next week, the Indian dealers are no longer only on the phone or via email ready. Good opportunity to take the FTR Carbon in sight.
Technically hardly any differences
The Indian FTR Carbon differs technically hardly from the base FTR 1200 S. Thus, both the 1203 cc V2 and the fully adjustable chassis remain unchanged.
Accordingly, the Carbon also delivers 123 hp at 8250 rpm and 120 Nm at 5900 rpm. ABS, traction control, three driving modes, cruise control and the LED touchscreen remain as usual.
Many components are made of carbon
True to the model designation, a whole lot of carbon is new. Not only the front fender, the headlight fairing, the seat cover and the airbox cover are made of carbon, but also the tank.
On this is also emblazoned a plaque with the inscription "Indian FTR 1200 Carbon".
Surcharge of exactly 2500 francs
Last but not least, the youngest member of the FTR family gets a black Akrapovic exhaust from the factory.
The Carbon is available in Switzerland from 19 990 francs. Thus it is exactly 2500 francs more expensive than the FTR 1200 S, which is already available from 17 490 francs.
