Since there were some 230 GE with hardtop in the pool, the idea came up to build an expedition camper on this basis, which is for sale from about 70 000.

For people who enjoy adventure of a special kind, Lorinser Classic has built a G that, in addition to all-wheel drive, also has a rear differential lock. The basis is a Puch 230 GE with a 116 hp four-cylinder gasoline engine and 4-speed automatic transmission.

Body in green gray

Marcus Lorinser: "We painted the body in a shade of green-grey matt, dry ice-blasted and preserved the underbody, renewed the seats and carried out a lot of other work. The engine, with 88,000 kilometers on the clock, is in good condition."

Puch
All-terrain tires from BF Goodrich on steel rims from Dotz 4×4 are part of the Puch's equipment.

Map design as foil
The real highlight is the residential body, for which the old hardtop was restored to like-new condition. For this purpose, the team carried out a repaint including polyurethane coating and applied the map design as a film.

Despite the compact cabin, a good and practical room layout and the integration of numerous comfort extras succeeded, which can be seen in the gallery.

Power supply via batteries
For example, passengers can look forward to a parking heater, 220-volt sockets, a microwave, a combined sink and washbasin with water tank, a folding table and two folding berths.

Power is supplied by the on-board batteries, which can be recharged via solar panels on the roof or via a feed from outside. So you are perfectly equipped for all situations - whether camping or expedition trip.
