What a Fiat Panda with all-wheel drive can do is clearly demonstrated in this video.

Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1980, the Fiat Panda will celebrate 40 years of production in 2020. With more than 7.5 million units produced, it is still the leader in its category.

Panda
The seats of the Fiat Panda even the first years can be easily adjusted to seven positions.

Interior versatile
The flagship of the small Italian is its design. Large, wrap-around bumpers, a protective side strip and the large glazing characterize the car's exterior.

At 3.38 meters long, the Fiat Panda offers space for five people and a high degree of versatility in the interior. The rear seat, for example, can be adjusted in seven different ways or transformed into a hammock, a cradle or a bed.

The functional interior is made of simple and robust materials and is completely washable.

Design by Giorgietto Giugiaro
An evolution and synthesis of the 126 and 127 models, the very first Panda was created by Italian designer Giorgietto Giugiaro. Compact on the outside, spacious on the inside, the small station wagon has two doors and a tailgate.

The drive is provided by the front wheels. A simple technical scheme that takes functionality into account and ensures plenty of space in the cab by making optimum use of the available space. Too often it was used up until corrosion led straight to the scrap press.

First city car with all-wheel drive

Luca Napolitano, Fiat Brand Manager: "The Fiat Panda has been the best-selling city car in Europe since 2003. It is also the vehicle of all records. It was the first all-wheel drive citycar, the first small car with automatic transmission, the first sport utility vehicle for the city and the first vehicle to climb Mount Everest."
