The first of the eight races for the newly launched virtual Formula E championship will feature all regular teams and 23 of their current Formula E drivers. They are racing from home using the rFactor2 simulator software.
On each of the following Saturdays in May, another simracing race will be held on a different track. As in the real Formula E, there will then be a double header on the weekend of June 6/7, with one race each on Saturday and Sunday.
"Race Royale" format with increased damage simulation
The starting grid is determined in a qualifying session over a flying lap. The race itself is run from the second lap onwards in the so-called "Race Royale Format", in which the last-placed driver is eliminated after each lap.

This elimination process continues until only ten riders remain. After that, a single lap sprint determines the winner of the Challenge. To promote fair and realistic racing, the simulation of potential damage and its consequences is increased to 80 percent.
All four Swiss in the race
After the test race took place in Monaco, the sim racers compete in the first championship race on the tight and challenging Hong Kong street circuit. Last season, Edoardo Mortara (Venturi Formula E Team) took his first Formula E victory on the real track.
Still absent from the test race, Sébastien Buemi will drive for Nissan as in real life, Edoardo Mortara for Venturi. At home in Port on Lake Biel, Neel Jani will sit in the virtual Porsche cockpit, while Nico Müller will step into the digital steering wheel of Dragon Racing's Penske at home in Blumenstein.

All races live and commented
All races will be broadcast live and exclusively for Switzerland on the base station MySports One. The first broadcast on Saturday, April 25, will start at 4:30 p.m. with an approximately ten-minute magazine show hosted by Gabriel Gasser.
From around 4.45 p.m., MySports will then broadcast the qualifications and races for the sim racers' "Challenge Grid" and the Formula E drivers' "Drivers Grid". As usual, the live broadcast will be commented by Herbert Zimmermann.
Transmission also on the Internet
In order to be able to include the eSports community in Switzerland in this live sports series, the esports.ch, Switzerland's most successful eSports platform, will broadcast the races of the "Formula E Race at Home Challenge.
All Formula E social media platforms are also live, such as the official YouTube channel, the Facebook page, the Facebook gaming site, the Twitch channel and @FIAFormulaE on Twitter. In addition, all races will be broadcast live on the Formula E homepage.
Two more races in the Porsche Virtual Supercup
Rounds 5 and 6 of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Virtual Edition will be held on Saturday at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. Porsche Junior Ayhancan Güven (TR/Martinet by Alméras) and Larry ten Voorde (NL/Team GP Elite) lead the overall standings with 90 points each.

Both won two of the four rounds held so far on the iRacing simulation platform. In the third digital event, 34 drivers compete against each other in their Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. From Switzerland, Fach Auto Tech is represented by its three drivers this year. Porsche factory driver Simona de Silvestro and Liechtenstein's Fabienne Wohlwend will be there as guest drivers, as in the first races.
The event with two races of 25 minutes each is available live in the stream of Porsche and on the Porsche YouTube channel to see. On the Internet, the German broadcaster Sport1 will broadcast the races on sport1.de and shows the highlights on TV on Sunday.
