The Yaris GR serves as the homologation model for the next WRC race car in the World Rally Championship.
The second sports model for the road developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) after the GR Supra is not only full of technology and experience from the World Rally Championship (WRC), but also serves as a homologation model for the next WRC race version.
Weight per hp only 4.9 kilograms
The combination of a powerful three-cylinder gasoline engine with ball-bearing turbocharger, manual 6-speed transmission and triple-adjustable GR-Four all-wheel drive is very special in this vehicle class. This also applies to the power-to-weight ratio: thanks to consistent lightweight construction with aluminum and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic, one horsepower has to move only 4.9 kilograms.
Basic variant Sport for Switzerland
The GR Yaris is offered in Switzerland exclusively in the basic Sport variant. The model thus comes with extensive equipment with highlights such as the Toyota Touch 8-inch central display, a 2-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats including heated steering wheel, GR sports suspension as well as LED projection headlights with High Beam Assist (AHB), LED taillights and LED front fog lights. The latest version of the Safety Sense package with functions such as adaptive cruise control (ACC) and the rearview camera ensure optimum safety.
Two packages are available
In the Sport version, there is a choice of a Premium Pack and a Circuit Pack. The Premium Pack ensures pleasant comfort. It includes the Touch2Go navigation system, head-up display, JBL premium audio system with eight speakers, an illuminated entry system, front and rear parking sensors, and blind spot assist and cross-traffic alert.
Forged 18 inch alloy wheels
The Circuit Pack includes slip-limiting Torsen differentials on the front and rear axles, a specially tuned suspension and forged 18-inch aluminum wheels with 225/40R18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. There are matching red brake calipers with GR logos printed on them.
