Opportunities for the best young talent
The Swiss Automobile Trade Association is looking for the best young talents in the profession of automotive mechatronics technician with EFZ. The top three finishers at SwissSkills will take part in the EuroCup, where one (or more) of the trio can qualify for WorldSkills 2021 in Shanghai.
Employers, vocational trainers, vocational school teachers and workshop teachers are invited to support the professional association in this search.
Top places for the Swiss
In recent years, Swiss automotive mechatronics technicians have consistently taken top places at the world championships, demonstrating the high standard of training in Swiss garages and vocational schools.
Grade 4.8 is a prerequisite
The competition is aimed at automotive mechatronics technicians born in 1999 or later. Participants must have completed the qualification process (final apprenticeship examination) by summer 2020 at the latest and achieved a grade of at least 4.8 in their professional knowledge and practical work.
For apprentices who will complete the QV in summer 2020, an average grade of 4.8 in the experience grades of the inter-company courses and in professional knowledge must also be proven for the application.
