Home delivery service for the elderly
Using its company cars, the Volkswagen Switzerland management team delivered the first orders in Bern and the surrounding area. Volkswagen and Amag are supporting Coop and the Swiss Red Cross with a home delivery service for people over 65. The free delivery service from Jaguar Land Rover Switzerland will be offered in a first step in Zurich and Olten with Land Rover vehicles.
The Red Cross is looking for volunteers
People from risk groups should stay at home in the current situation, but daily errands still need to be done. Orders can be placed by phone or via e-mail.
The Swiss Red Cross is also looking for volunteers to make home deliveries for elderly people 65 and older.
