Environmental zones
The new regulation was a topic of discussion among the 65,224 visitors to Swiss-Moto 2020.

Reason: If ozone and particulate matter levels are too high, certain vehicles, including bikes, are no longer allowed to drive in the city of Geneva. This means that even Euro3 vehicles may no longer be used.

Transition period until March 31, 2020
The Geneva government is thus taking a measure that is a first in Switzerland. There is a transitional period until March 31, 2020.

The stickers have the colors green, purple, yellow, orange, red or gray, depending on the exhaust emission values. Important: The measure also applies to non-Cantonal and foreign vehicles!

Fines up to 500 francs threaten
The Geneva "Stick'AIR" sticker is available for five francs, must be affixed to the inside of the windshield in a clearly visible position and remains valid until the end of the vehicle's life. Failure to comply will result in a fine of 500 francs.

Since December, the "Stick'AIR" can be ordered at the Geneva Motor Vehicle Inspection. Other points of sale will be communicated by the Canton of Geneva. You will find all further information HERE.
