The popular Levante SUV range will soon be joined by a new model.

Production of the first all-electric Gran Turismo and Gran Cabrio models is scheduled to start in 2021, both of which will roll off the production line at the central plant in Mirafiori. 800 million euros have been invested for this purpose.

Supercar from Modena
The Mirafiori plant is being developed into the global headquarters for electrification and the mobility of the future. However, the heart of Maserati continues to beat in Modena, where the headquarters are located and where the models are developed and tested.

The new super sports car will also be built at this site. The production lines are currently being extensively modernized for this purpose. A new paint shop has also been added.

Digital process on three levels
Modena is also home to the Innovation Labs, which house the Research, Development and Design departments. Product development is supported by digital processes with a special Maserati formula. This is an integrated approach that puts the human factor at the forefront from the outset.

The digital processes used in development take place on three levels: in the static simulator, in the latest dynamics simulator, and in the user experience development labs. Planning is also underway for a new SUV to be manufactured in Cassino.

Maserati is investing more than 800 million euros in the new production line. The first vehicles are expected to roll off the production line in 2021.
