The highlights show in two and a half minutes what went down at the 2019 premiere in Italy.
On the first weekend of November 2019, the World Automobile Association held the first FIA Motorsport Games in collaboration with SRO Motorsport Group, which also manages global GT3 racing series. Although big names were missing from the first event, the organizers are convinced by the format. That's why the decision was made to hold the event again in 2020.
Welcome to the South of France
Not much can be learned about the second edition yet. At least, the two venues have been determined: the modern Formula 1 Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet and Marseille as the partner city.
The first battle of the nations was held in 2019 at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome. Six disciplines were on the program: GT Cup, Touring Car Cup, F4 Cup, Drift Cup, Karting Slalom Cup and Digital Cup. More are to be added this year.
A total of 192 riders from 49 nations took part. Switzerland also had a small delegation in four disciplines, but remained without a medal. The overall victory in Vallelunga went to Russia with one gold and two bronze medals.

FIA Hill Climb Masters mid-October
Independent of the FIA Motorsport Games, the fourth FIA Hill Climb Masters will take place two weeks earlier (October 9-11). The race will be held on the shortened Falperra circuit in Braga, Portugal, where a round of the European Hill Climb Championship was held every year until 2019.
Reto Meisel celebrated his only win of the season there in Group E2-SH in May 2019 before his Mercedes SLK340 fell victim to an accident a week later at the next EBM round in Spain.
Roger Schnellmann captured the gold medal in the touring car category with his Mitsubishi at the 3rd FIA Hill Climb Masters 2018 in Gubbio (I). At the 2014 premiere in Eschdorf (L), the current Swiss champion Eric Berguerand had managed a sensational category victory over record European champion Simone Faggioli in the race cars, which was also rewarded with gold.
