Macan
The Macan was the Porsche model series most in demand in Switzerland.

With 1415 deliveries, the Porsche Macan was once again the Stuttgart-based manufacturer's most popular model series in Switzerland. Since its launch in 2014, the Macan has been the most successful model series in the market in terms of volume.

In 2019, customers most frequently opted for the Macan S. As a result, the model advanced to become the best-selling Porsche in Switzerland last year. The first deliveries of the Macan GTS, which can already be ordered and which experience has shown to be very popular in Switzerland, will take place in these weeks.

One third with hybrid drive
A total of 897 vehicles from the Porsche Cayenne model series passed into customer hands. Demand for the SUV's hybrid concept increased: one third of all Cayennes sold were hybrid models.

Since April last year, the Cayenne has also been available to order in the Coupé body variant. More than 30 percent of the Cayenne delivered in 2019 has already been ordered as a Coupé.

Michael Glinski: "In 2020, we expect further growth in Switzerland."

Good work of the dealer network
Michael Glinski, Managing Director Porsche Schweiz AG: "Porsche is on course for success in Switzerland - also due to the outstanding performance of our dealer network. For 2020, we expect further qualitative growth in Switzerland, partly due to the launch of the first purely electric Porsche sports car. The Taycan has been available to order since September of last year, and incoming orders show that it is being very well received by Swiss customers."

Used cars with Approved warranty
In addition to the new car business, the Porsche Switzerland boss is also satisfied with the used car business.

Michael Glinski "We are convinced of the long-term quality of our sports cars. With the Porsche Approved seal, we therefore offer a standard typical of the brand that distinguishes used cars with the highest level of quality."

Every used car from Porsche that receives an Approved Garantie undergoes a check comprising 111 items. Porsche thus offers a warranty for used cars that is on a par with that for new cars and protects sports cars for up to 15 years.
