Natural gas
The range of the Seat Arona TGI in gas mode is just over 300 kilometers in practice.

Under the hood of the Seat Arona TGI is a one-liter three-cylinder engine. For the Arona, it is optimized for natural gas combustion and produces 90 hp. It bears the abbreviation TGI at the rear. Stands for Turbo Gas Injection.

The pressure tanks for the supply of 13.8 kilograms of natural gas are located on the rear axle, which resulted in the cargo area floor being raised. Instead of 400 liters of trunk space, the TGI has a sufficient 282 liters.

If the natural gas is running low, the system displays the need for refueling. Gas stations appear at the click of a button.

Natural gas
The route can be entered easily in the cell phone. A valuable aid to the information on the display.

Gasoline reserve for just under 100 kilometers
The gasoline tank as an iron reserve has a volume of nine liters. The displays for the gas and gasoline tanks are separate, and a green indicator lamp signals natural gas operation. When it goes out after about 300 kilometers, watch out.

Normally, the amount of gasoline is enough for just under 100 kilometers. If, for example, the journey is a little faster on a German autobahn, it will be a few kilometers less. That's why anyone who wants to go on a trip should (and must) plan in advance if the savings potential of natural gas is really to be exploited.
