The new Kia owes its distinct look to the fact that it is much more than a higher-slung sedan. The five-door model, known as the Hatchback, is 85 millimeters shorter than the new model, the front overhang is 25 millimeters longer and the rear 60 millimeters longer than the normal Ceed. This results in an increase in cargo space; the XCeed can boast 426 liters.
Power range up to 204 hp
At the start of sales, the Kia XCeed will be offered with three gasoline engines and one diesel. They cover a power range from 115 hp to 204 hp. The top version, equipped with all available extras, has an automatic seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and is on the price list for 40,150 francs. It gets its 204 hp from just 1.6 liters of displacement and brings a maximum torque of 265 Newton meters to the front axle from 1500 revolutions.

Real time traffic information
The cockpit design convinces with clean workmanship, underfoamed, soft and grained surfaces and makes a balanced comfortable impression overall.
The upright screen mounted above the center console is striking. It is 10.25 inches large and if a rear-view camera is on board, a razor-sharp image there helps with orientation. The navigation system offers real-time traffic information.
Plug-in hybrid coming in early 2020
Available from early next year, the plug-in hybrid variant produces 141 hp at 265 Nm with the combination of 8.9-kWh battery, 44.5-kW electric motor and 1.6-liter gasoline engine. An interesting mix. The prices of the new
