Kart-SM: Postponed decisions

ALL STILL OPEN Contrary to expectations, no one was able to win the championship early at the penultimate kart race in Levier (F). This promises excitement for the final races in Lignières. The best starting position for an early decision was for Mike Müller in the KZ2 category. He had a 70-point lead before the fifth championship round and still has it after, although he had to settle for 5th and 7th place in the qualifying rounds. Only in the final run did the Sigriswil native make it onto the podium in third place. Because his direct competitors, above all Isabelle von Lerber, could not benefit from this, Müller can hardly take the first title in the KZ2 from him.

The big winner in Levier near the border was Müller's teammate Samir Ben. After a win and a second place in the heats, the Swiss-Hutless driver also claimed victory in the final. There he kept Vincenzo Alvaro at bay. Alvaro was subsequently given a 5-second penalty for a spoiler that did not comply with the rules, which meant that Sven Müller inherited second place. Müller leads the championship with 299 points ahead of Alvaro (229) and Von Lerber (228).

OK Senior: Miklas Born in front of Pascal von Allmen and Patrick Näscher.

Von Allmen before winning the title
In the OK Senior category, Pascal von Allmen extended his lead in the standings from 54 to 62 points - without winning. After finishing 3rd and 2nd in the heats, Von Allmen received a five-second time penalty in the final due to an incident in the pit lane. Without this mishap, he would have won the title early. The only person who can theoretically still challenge him for the title is Patrick Näscher. Miklas Born secured the victory in Levier. Since the man from Basel already missed three SM runs, it was only a matter of the day's victory for him.

It's a close-run thing in the OC Juniors. Elia Sperandio defended his leading position in Levier, but Sebastian Kraft reduced the gap to nine points with a top weekend (three wins in three races). Because of a crack in the chassis Sperandio's helpers had to weld before each run, but he still set the fastest time in the final. Starting from 4th place, Ekaterina Lüscher took second place in the final.

A trio fights for the X30 title
Three drivers can still become champions in the X30 Challenge Switzerland. Savio Moccia still has the best starting position. The 17-year-old from Lyss was on the podium in all three races in Levier. Nevertheless, his rival Rafael Aguiar came closer with two wins and a second place. Léna Bühler was third on the podium in the final. With a gap of 29 points to the top, her chances of winning the title are definitely still intact.

In the youngest Super Mini category, Roy Alan Shaw continues to hold the best cards, although the 11-year-old Wallisian's lead shrank to 40 points. Elia Pappacena experienced his second best weekend after Wohlen with ranks 1, 3 and 2 and thus postponed the title decision to the final on September 14/15 in Lignières.
