The importer of the Japanese brand is involved as the main sponsor and provided an Outlander PHEV to the producer, director and author of the musical, Rolf Knie. This collaboration is now being extended in the form of a limited special model.
Final in December in Basel
The Circus Musical by Rolf Knie tells the true story of a 200-year-old family dynasty with its ups and downs, of dreams come true, romantic love stories, but also of setbacks and struggles for survival.
The journey begins in 1803 at the Austrian imperial court and ends in 1970, passing through different eras. After performances in Dübendorf and Bern, the finale is scheduled for December in Basel.
Foiling with circus motifs
In addition to being the main sponsor of the musical, Mitsubishi is launching a limited special edition model. The Outlander PHEV Rolf Knie Edition is foiled with a circus motif designed by Rolf Knie. The foiling is applied to the exterior mirrors and the cover of the cup holder at the front.
The hood is adorned with a circus tent in the same design. Each buyer receives a certificate signed by Rolf Knie.
Limited edition of 70 vehicles This version of the Outlander PHEV is available as an option for the Style, Diamond and S-Edition equipment lines at a surcharge of 1000 Swiss francs and is limited to 70 vehicles. The market launch of the will take place on August 16 to mark Rolf Knie's 70th birthday.
