Commercial users and families in particular will be pleased with the Navara's greater efficiency - as well as the shifting comfort now offered by the new 6-speed manual transmission.
The multi-link rear axle, which is standard for all variants, sets standards for ride characteristics, handling and comfort in this class. Disc brakes provide deceleration on all wheels. Thanks to the revised suspension, the maximum payload is also increased. The trailer stabilization system prevents rocking during towing.
Self-igniter produces 163 or 190 hp
The Navara's diesel engine has also been brought into line with the times: CO2 emissions now start at 184 g/km, which corresponds to an average consumption of seven liters per 100 kilometers. Nissan offers the 2.3-liter diesel engine j in 163- and 190-hp twin-turbo versions. The entry-level variant owes a torque of 425 Nm to the switch to a twin turbocharger.
Increased payload compared to predecessor
In the Navara King Cab, the payload increases by 55 to 95 kilograms compared with the predecessor model, depending on the specification, to now 1165 kilograms (with a permissible gross weight of 3200 kilograms). In the double cab version, the payload increases to up to 1180 kilos; the permissible gross weight here is 3250 kilos. Other innovations in the Navara include intelligent trailer stabilization.
Functions and networked services
The NissanConnect infotainment system's enhanced eight-inch high-resolution touchscreen gives occupants access to a variety of features and connected services.
The Navara also adds the NissanConnect Services app, which enables data exchange without a separate phone connection via telematics control and a built-in 4G device. The TomTom navigation maps are kept up to date via over-the-air updates.
